Works with Perplexity

Find a Lawyer from Inside Perplexity

Add the ESQ Matching Engine connector to Perplexity. Then ask Perplexity to find, compare and price licensed U.S. lawyers. It shows why each lawyer matches and says plainly what is unknown. ESQ Matching Engine finds lawyers; it does not give legal advice.

You need a paid Perplexity plan (Pro, Max or Enterprise). Free accounts cannot add custom connectors. On Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to allow it. Perplexity moves these settings from time to time.

This is the standard MCP endpoint (https://match.esqcopilot.com/mcp) with a tag that tells us which app a request came from. Both addresses work. No sign-in or key is needed.

Set it up in 3 steps

  1. On perplexity.ai (the web app), open Settings, then Connectors (on some versions Apps and Connectors), and choose to add a custom connector.
  2. Choose Remote, name it ESQ Matching Engine, paste the connector address above, and choose no authentication. No sign-in or key is needed.
  3. Start a new search with the connector turned on and ask your question.

Add the connector on the web first; the mobile apps may show it later.

I got an eviction notice in Orange County, California. Can you find me a lawyer?

The assistant asks for anything it still needs, then lists matching lawyers with the reasons for each. It shares your name or details with a lawyer only after you say yes. For now, introduction requests are recorded and not yet sent to lawyers, so call the lawyer’s office directly if your matter is urgent.
