ALCBar is now ESQ CoPilot

Works with ChatGPT

Find a Lawyer from Inside ChatGPT

Add the ESQ CoPilot Match connector to ChatGPT. Then ask ChatGPT to find, compare and price licensed U.S. lawyers. It shows why each lawyer matches and says plainly what is unknown. ESQ CoPilot finds lawyers; it does not give legal advice.

You need a paid ChatGPT plan with Developer mode. The free plan cannot add custom apps. OpenAI moves these settings from time to time, and what each plan offers can change.

Set it up in 3 steps

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps (or Connectors), then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Choose Create app. Name it ESQ CoPilot Match, paste the connector address above, and set Authentication to None.
  3. Start a new chat, choose ESQ CoPilot Match, and ask your question. ChatGPT asks for your approval before it sends anything to a lawyer.

If ESQ CoPilot adds new tools later, refresh the app in ChatGPT so it picks them up.

Try this question

I got an eviction notice in Orange County, California. Can you find me a lawyer?

ChatGPT asks for anything it still needs, then lists matching lawyers with the reasons for each. It shares your name or details with a lawyer only after you say yes. For now, ESQ CoPilot records introduction requests and does not yet send them to lawyers, so call the lawyer’s office directly if your matter is urgent.
